Text description provided by the architects. In the Natural Park of the Garroxta Volcanic Zone in Les Preses, near Olot, there is a very special place, a sea of rocks. This area was produced partially by the basaltic wash off from the Croscat volcano, and partially by the arduous work of man in his fight to cultivate a small portion of land, leveling and clearing plots and accumulating all the rocks, stones and pebbles in wide walls, tombs, and barracks. Its morphological and tactile roughness retains perception.
The project seeks to enhance the uniqueness of this landscape and to activate the factor of surprise in its discovery. A narrow dotted line, made of steel panels, allows you to travel through space. The broken form of the steel lines contrasts with the round rocky masses.
